Le Palais Garnier

Le Palais Garnier is the oprea house. Boy is it opulent.  You can take a self guided tour for 9 euros.  It was built on the orders of Napoleon III. Designed by Charles Garnier who won a competition to be the architect.  It took 15 years to build and was completed in 1875.  We spent about an hour just wandering thru.

This is the view as you exit the metro station
