Le Strike

There is a huge strike going on in France right now.   It is effecting the transportation system.  According to the BBC about 85K people participated in protests on Tuesday.  Joe and I headed up to the Bon Marchè department store and managed to intersect with the protestors. It was very exhilarating.

We also had a champagne lunch at the Bon Marchè

There is a great Epicurean floor on the lower level of the store.  

I scored some fleur de sel from Brittany.  

We were surprised when they brought us a bowl of potato chips with the champagne but they went well together.  Our main course was tagliatelle with rabbit.  It was awesome.
